THEY WERE BORN MINUTES APART IN THE SAME HOSPITAL. 20 YEARS LATER, THEY’RE GETTING MARRIED.

Some couples remember the exact moment they first met.

For Lorene Mease and Brayden Faucett, that question is a little more complicated.

They were both born on July 7, 2006, in the same Missouri hospital.

Not hours apart.

Minutes apart.

And remarkably, they were delivered by the same doctor

Their mothers already knew each other from high school. In fact, Lorene’s mother recorded the coincidence in her daughter’s baby book, noting that her friend Karen Faucett had given birth to twin boys on the same day.

One of those boys was Brayden.

At the time, nobody could have imagined where that coincidence would eventually lead.

THEY GREW UP — AND LIFE BROUGHT THEM TOGETHER AGAIN

Because their mothers were friends, Lorene and Brayden occasionally crossed paths as children.

But this wasn’t a childhood romance.

Lorene remembers that Brayden and his twin brother didn’t particularly want her hanging around. Brayden recalled that the boys would even tease her by claiming the shared birthday belonged to them, not her.

Years later, things changed.

After their 16th birthday, Lorene and Brayden started dating.

And this time, they stayed together.

What began with three babies sharing an extraordinary birthday coincidence gradually became a love story.

Earlier in 2026, Brayden proposed.

He chose a piece of land where the couple hopes one day to build their home together

Lorene says one of the most important things about their relationship is remarkably simple:

They’re best friends.

And on October 3, 2026, the two had their wedding date set — adding another date to a story that began exactly 20 years earlier in the same hospital.

They didn’t choose July 7 for the wedding.

They already share that day.

Now they’ll have another anniversary of their own.

Same birthday. Same hospital. Same doctor. And, two decades later, a life they chose to build together.
