Cheesy Ground Beef Garlic Bread Subs

A restaurant-style sandwich that’s cheesy, buttery, and ready in just 35 minutes!
Ingredients
4 hoagie rolls or sub rolls
1 lb (450 g) lean ground beef
1 tbsp olive oil
1 small onion, diced
1 green bell pepper, diced
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tsp Italian seasoning
½ tsp garlic powder
½ tsp paprika
Salt and black pepper, to taste
2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
½ cup shredded provolone or cheddar cheese (optional)
2 tbsp chopped fresh parsley
Garlic Butter
¼ cup unsalted butter, melted
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tbsp chopped fresh parsley
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the onion and bell pepper and cook for 3–4 minutes until softened.
Stir in the garlic and cook for 30 seconds. Add the ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it into crumbles. Drain any excess fat.
Season with the Italian seasoning, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
Mix the melted butter with the garlic and parsley.
Slice the hoagie rolls lengthwise without cutting all the way through. Brush the inside of each roll generously with the garlic butter.
Fill each roll with the beef mixture and top with mozzarella and provolone (if using).
Place on a baking sheet and bake for 10–12 minutes, until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
Broil for 1–2 minutes until the tops are lightly browned.
Sprinkle with fresh parsley and serve immediately.
