Homemade low GI, high fibre whole-grain & seed bread with homemade spiced Houmous … or is it hummus ?!
Houmous ingredients:
1 can chickpeas
1 can borlotti beans (u can use chickpeas instead but I think these give a nicer texture)
1 tbsp light tahini
1 tbsp lemon juice
Drizzle of balsamic vinegar
1 small clove of garlic
1/4 cup water
1 Tsp curry powder
1/2 Tsp paprika
1/4 Tsp mixed spice
1/2 Tsp cinnamon
A little salt and pepper
Method:
Blend all ingredients together in a food processor
