1 cup of white sugar
1 teaspoon of ground cinnamon
1 teaspoon of salt
1 egg white
1 tablespoon of water
1 lb pecan halves
Preheat the oven to 250 degrees F (120 degrees C).
Combine the sugar, cinnamon and salt in a bowl.
Whisk together egg white and water in another bowl until frothy. Stir the pecans into the egg white mixture. Stir the sugar mixture with the pecan mixture until the pecans are evenly coated. Spread the coated pecans on a baking sheet.
Bake in preheated oven, stirring every 15 minutes, until pecans are evenly browned, 1 hour.
