Robert De Niro And Baby Daughter Gia Snuggle In Rare Family Photo
Robert De Niro shows off how well he gets along with his 10-month-old daughter Gia.
There is a new picture that Page Six got of the 80-year-old “Goodfellas” star holding a baby on his lap and resting his cheek on her head.
His little girl was wearing a cute onesie with musical mice on it and had a sweet smile on her face.
“She’s such an adorable baby. So sweet,” De Niro gushed in an interview with People that came out Wednesday.
The star also laughed about how his family was acting in a strange way after having his seventh child at age 79.
“The kids all get a big kick out of her. The grandkids even. She’s their aunt — [and] they’re about to be teenagers!” he said.
He had Gia with his lover Tiffany Chen in the spring of 2023. De Niro is also the father of Drena, 56, Raphael, 47, Julian and Aaron, twins, 28, Elliot, 25, and Helen, 12.
Leandro, Drena’s son, died last year at the age of 19 from an accidental overdose. He was one of his four grandkids.
In an interview with AARP last month, the Oscar winner got upset when talking about his new family member.
“Everything that I’m consumed with or worried about just goes away when I look at her,” he raved. “It’s wondrous.”
This October, he talked to the Guardian about his home life with Chen, 45, and their baby girl Gia.
He was honest when he talked about his age and said that he has stopped doing “the heavy lifting.”
“I’m there, I support my girlfriend. But she does the work,” he stated.
“And we have help, which is so important.”
For the first time, De Niro and Chen were linked in 2021. They had met on the set of his 2015 movie “The Intern.”
“When we were working, it was just work,” Chen said about when they started dating in July 2023 on “CBS Mornings” with Gayle King.
“And then a couple of years later, we got back in touch, and I said, ‘Oh, I guess we get along, and I guess we really get along.’”
The star of “Killers of the Flower Moon” was married to Diahnne Abbott from 1976 to 1988 and to Grace Hightower from 1997 to 2018.
